Overview
Gran Canaria packs a lot into one island. Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles in the south have the dunes and the dependable winter sun; Las Palmas in the north is a proper working city with a beach attached. The mountainous interior is a different climate entirely and worth a day. Roughly four and a half hours from Dublin.
